Truly a first for cycling, Etape Suisse has raised the bar for all sportives by partnering with Mosimann’s, the private dining club in London’s Belgrave Square, owned and run by Swiss chef, Anton Mosimann OBE, to offer riders what must be the world’s finest food stops.

At last year’s Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Pennines, the UK’s first closed road cycling event, there were just 60 female participants, making up 7% of the field that included 2,000 amateur cyclists. This has quadrupled to over 250 female riders for the 2014 event, with plenty more expected to sign up before the event on July 20th.

“Emphasis is placed on convenience and luxury, with the organisers picking up participants’ bikes in the UK and dropping them off in Davos, where a choice of four and five-star accommodation is available and a weekend packed with social events surrounding the cycling is planned.
Ultimately, the Etape Suisse can be as serious or as relaxed as you want it to be. The only thing you cannot tone down is the beauty of Switzerland’s roads and scenery. Not that you would want to…….”

We ‘re pleased to be working with prestigious brand Etape Suisse on their inaugural event on 5-8 September in Davos Klosters, Switzerland. That also includes organising and managing the press trip to the luxury skiing and cycling resort.
The media launch of this new cycling sportive was held at the House of Commons and featured a number of key cycling leaders including Wiggle Honda Team Manager Rochelle Gilmore, Human Race, Wattbike, Bespoke Cycling, Anthony McCrossan and Etape Suisse founder Robert Simpson.
