ZwimZuit, the new British-made fitness bikini for active women has announced the appointment of JellyRock PR. ZwimZuit is made from specialist neoprene material, ensuring the bikini stays where it should during swimming, water sports and yoga – so no more embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. The brand has been created by entrepreneur and bikini expert Cherry Harker, aged 76, who used to holiday in the South of France in the 50s and 60s alongside icons Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly. Meet the people who turned their passion into profit

In the old days people just stuck at their jobs whether they liked them or not – for the security, the tradition and for the reason that simply, without the internet, being an entrepreneur was far more difficult.

Now, with connectivity, access to market is now easier than ever. As a result, working for yourself is increasingly popular. Last month’s latest figures, which compare April to June 2016 with the same period from the previous year, show the number of self-employed people increased by 257,000 to 4.8 million (that’s 15% of all people in work) and it’s growing each month.

As this is a topic close to my heart, I’ve been speaking to some clever folk who were unhappy in their 9-5 roles and so turned their passion into highly profitable business ventures.

Client Coverage: Revolve24 in The Telegraph

JellyRock PR’s client Revolve24 has had a good week: as well as featuring in key sports title CyclingPlus, as well as in a number of regional titles and confirming six-time Olympic champion Jason Kenny as a participant, they’ve also enjoyed a half-page in the Daily Telegraph.

The coverage JellyRock PR has generated has been the result of supplying journalists with stand-out, memorable stories that fit their readership. When you’re pitching to journalists you have to put yourself in their shoes. What kind of stories do they, and their readers / audience want to hear? PRs offer an important service, not just to their clients, but to journos, bloggers, TV and radio producers too.

As for working with Jason Kenny, having spent a lot of this year’s Olympics screaming at him on the TV and celebrating his incredible successes, along with his wonderfully talented fiance Laura Trott, we are just a little bit excited to be meeting him on the Brands Hatch track at Revolve24 on 10-11 September.
